Lenora Geyer - Teacher - Temecula Valley Unified School District

Lenora is a special education teacher in Temecula, California. She came in to celebrate her graduation and we had the opportunity to ask her about her educational journey with CCU.

Tell us a little about yourself:

"I have a BA in Psychology, an MA in Education and obtained an MS & Doctorate at CCU. I have done this working full time, raising 6 children and caring for 10 behaviorally disordered foster children, building a home and helping with my 25 grandchildren."

What does earning these degrees mean to you?

"Professionally—paid higher on the pay scale with more credits. I've used the knowledge to support me in my special ed. classroom. Personally—it was a life goal that no one can take away. My goal was reached against ALL odds."

What advice would you give to other students?

"You can never go wrong with an education—professionally, it moves you to the top—personally, your confidence will soar."

What have you enjoyed most about California Coast University?

"The FLEXIBILITY!!!!"

We want to thank Lenora for taking the time to complete the CCU graduate profile.
