CCU is a proud sponsor of RED NOSE DAY. In the last 25 years, the RED NOSE ORGANIZATION has raised over $1 billion globally to lift kids out of poverty – and get the help to those who need it most. To do this, it takes a global movement - uniting celebrities, comedy, and the public to raise awareness and money. To give you an idea of how the money is spent:

$1 Provides a meal for a child living in a homeless shelter.

$5 Pays for antibiotics to treat a child with pneumonia.

$35 Provides an eye exam and glasses for a child in need.

$4 Buys an anti-malarial net to protect a mother and her baby.

$5 Provides medical supplies for a doctor’s visit on a mobile clinic.

$15 Keeps a child safe, sheltered and off the street for a week.

$7 Provides books, supplies and activities to help a child keep reading skills sharp during the summer.
