The Distance Education and Training Council (DETC) Fall Workshop was held on October 16-18, 2011. More than 120 people gathered at the Loews Vanderbilt Hotel in Nashville, Tennessee for the event. In attendance were California Coast University President, Tom Neal, and Natasha Franklin, Director of University Planning and Compliance.

The workshop featured a dozen richly informative sessions, including a primer on using technology to assist in compliance, a presentation on student engagement strategies to improve retention, a discussion on the state of state authorization, and a session devoted to the assessment of student learning. - www.detc.org
