DETC - Distance Education and Training Council

On January 29th, CCU's Murl Tucker, Ph.D. Chief Academic Officer, Natasha Franklin, Director of Planning and Compliance, and Christi Okuma, Director of Marketing and Development, attended the DETC Regional Meeting at the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) campus in Carlsbad, CA. The focus of the meeting was to discuss State Authorization and strategies for meeting the Department of Education mandate. After the meeting and a tour of the beautiful facility and the many priceless jewels, there was a luncheon and a chance to reconnect with professional colleagues.
