Distance Education and Training Council (DETC) Fall Workshop - Santa Fe

By CCU Staff

Beautiful Santa Fe, New Mexico with its rich history, centuries-old adobes, and southwest lore was the setting for DETC's Fall Workshop held October 14-16, 2012. Just off the famed Plaza, attendees met to listen to a diverse group of experts discuss the multi-faceted distance learning world. Held at the El Dorado Hotel, participants attended workshops on business and education standards, new technologies, leveraging social media, working with state regulators, and outcomes assessment. The workshop proved to be a valuable experience and a chance to catch up with old friends. Representing California Coast University was Vice President of Student Affairs Murl Tucker, Ph.D.

Next meeting is San Francisco in April 2012. Thanks DETC!
