We received exciting news from one of our graduates! Author AimeeAnn Blythe is happy to announce the publication of her first short story in the new book – Chicken Soup for the Soul: The Joy of Christmas. Congratulations AimeeAnn! (Pictured below at a recent book signing)

After her graduation from California Coast University in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science in Health Care Administration degree AimeeAnn decided it was finally time to pursue her lifelong dream of becoming a published author.

When asked about how earning her degree with CCU helped her in her writing career, she told us that writing all those essays helped to prepare her for writing first short stories, and then beginning her first novel

She also had this to say about the advice she would give to other students, “Education is an asset--no matter what your age. Work toward what you are passionate about and you'll be happier.” We like that positive attitude. She continues on to say the key is to “do the research & formulate a road map for your goals, adjusting for any life changes along the way.” We agree that staying flexible when completing a self-paced educational program is paramount to successfully reaching your goals.

We wish you great success with your new career as an author.
