Distance Education and Training Council (DETC) Fall Workshop - New Orleans

By CCU Staff

The Big Easy was the setting for DETC's Fall Workshop held October 13-15, 2013 at The Windsor Court Hotel in New Orleans. President Tom Neal, Chief Academic Officer Murl Tucker, Ph.D. and Director of Planning and Compliance Natasha Franklin represented California Coast University. There were presentations on research and educational standards, business standards, promoting retention in online programs, best practices for military and veteran education, mapping curriculum, and assessing student achievement. The workshop was an informative one - helping California Coast University stay up-to-date on new directions within the distance education field.

Thank you DETC for another great gathering!
