CCU Honors its Graduates Through International Honor Society The Distance Education and Training Council (DETC) Board of Trustees, in cooperation with the President of the Alpha Beta Kappa National Honor Society, established Delta Epsilon Tau (DET) International Honor Society in 1997. CCU established the "Gamma of California" Chapter of the DET International Honor Society (DET) on March 31, 2005. CCU will award its new graduates this honor and earned recognition to individuals who have worked diligently to acquire new knowledge and skills, and who have pursued their degrees through CCU's distance learning program. The fact that a CCU graduate is elected clearly sets him or her apart from other students and demonstrates a serious commitment to distance education and self-study.
