University Textbook Lending Library The Library's primary role is to provide textbook support to students. California Coast University utilizes commercially available textbooks published by mainstream publishers such as Prentice Hall, McGraw Hill, Addison Wesley, etc. Students are permitted to acquire textbooks on their own. The Student Handbook suggests several sites where students may purchase new or used textbooks. Students who wish to take advantage of the University Lending Library may rent a textbook for a period of 90 days for a fee of $25.00 per textbook. This alternative to purchasing expensive textbook materials has proven to be very popular with our students. A refundable security deposit of $50.00 is required.
