The University's programs are designed for mid-career adults who are capable of accepting a large measure of personal responsibility for their educational achievements. A minimum of only 2 courses must be completed per year to remain active which allows students the opportunity to focus on work and school. A minimum of 9 months is required before an Associate’s, Bachelor’s or Master’s student will be awarded their degree. For Doctoral candidates, a minimum of 2 years is required before they will be awarded their degree. A recent survey of alumni indicated that the average age of our student body is 41 years old, and the majority of our students are working full time while finishing their degrees. In 2003, the University's School of Education awarded a 92-year-old woman her degree. A lifetime dream became a reality. As you can see, an educational goal can become a reality at any age.
California Coast University is committed to the success of our students and graduates. Partnerships were formed to assist CCU alumni seeking to further their education.
