Concord Law School offers a fully interactive program of legal education online. Students access course materials, watch video lectures, attend live classes, take exams, check their module progress, go to the library, meet with other students in the lounge, and contact their professors and the administrative staff - all through Concord’s online learning platform.
Concord offers two degree programs:
The Juris Doctor program is a 92-unit, four-year part-time program. The JD program meets the legal education requirements of the State Bar of California developing the knowledge and skills necessary to be an effective member of the legal profession.*
The Executive JDsm (EJD) program consists of 72 units generally completed over three years. The EJD is a unique degree program pioneered by Concord. It provides individuals with an interest in the law, or those whose career would benefit from advanced legal knowledge, the opportunity to participate in law school courses without the regulatory hurdles associated with becoming a member of the Bar.

*Concord is a Distance Learning Law School registered with the Committee of Bar Examiners of the State Bar of California. Concord operates under the rules and guidelines established by the Committee. Concord JD graduates, who meet the regulatory requirements including passing the First Year Law Students Exam, are eligible to sit for the California Bar Exam. Study at, or graduation from, Concord may not qualify a student to take the bar examination or satisfy the requirements for admission to practice law in jurisdictions other than California. A student seeking admission to practice law in a jurisdiction other than California should contact the admitting authority in that jurisdiction for information regarding the legal education requirement for admission to the practice of law.
Concord Law School is also accredited by the Accrediting Commission of the Distance Education and Training Council (DETC) and as part of Kaplan University, is accredited by The Higher Learning Commission (HLC) and a member of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (NCA).
